Fight the Hard Fight
Organized labor has never shied away from hard fights.
Obviously the growth of the private prison industry harms the economic interests of organized labor and public employees. More importantly, corporate loyalty to shareholder profits stands in stark contrast to the oaths that correctional officers take to protect public safety. Cost cutting in the name of profits undermines both the safety of all concerned and efforts to uphold the quality of the profession.
Labor has the power to fight back.
Join the cause and stay up to date on the latest efforts to end the terrible combination of profit and prisons.
