"13th" Documentary Screening and Panel Discussion

Abolish Private Prisons presents "13th," a documentary by Ava DuVernay that looks at mass incarceration as a modern form of slavery. The film opened the 2016 New York Film Festival and has earned acclaim from numerous film critics as well as an Oscar nomination for Best Documentary. Doors open at 5:45pm. The film begins at 6:15pm followed by a facilitated panel discussion.
